Welcome to Eastlake
One of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Seattle, Eastlake is nestled above Lake Union with easy access to Interstate 5, University of Washington, and Downtown. Providing the perfect blend of livability and convenience, it is a neighborhood for those who enjoy a tranquil sense of community while remaining close to everything. This is as good as it gets.
Eastlake is one of Seattle’s oldest neighborhoods and was established in the 1890’s. Originally the area’s accessibility to Lake Union provided opportunity for industrial uses such as shipyards, fishing boat moorages, paper mills, and even one of Boeing’s first airplane hangars. Much of the industrious history has passed but it has helped shape the unique charm that is Eastlake. From the picturesque houseboat community to the early 1900’s apartment buildings Eastlake is a changing neighborhood that still maintains an antique and eclectic feel.
